good morning,we are two germans travelling through asia. next destination is laos. do you think it makes sence to get our chinese visa in laos?because we probably arrive in china in about 4 or 5 month (before we plan to go to kambot and vietnam)i heard that the chinese visa is only valid for 50 days from the day you receive it.what do you think is the best place for us to get it as we don't want to fly and just make everything by train or bus.thank you very much for your help and have a good day!gesche

China toursit visa is usualy valid for 3 months since issue date. you can try to apply in Ho chi mihn from Chinese consulate. Or just from Commissioner office of China Foreign Affairs in HK. The trains tickets between countries are also acceptable for visa application.
