About:Chinese Consulate in New York

I was borned in Hong Kong. On my birth certificate it is under my chinese name but when I became a US Citizen, I only put my American name (Steven Chan). I went to the district court to try to get proof of the name change. They told me that the record is in archieve and they have to order it. They said that it should be ready last Friday or today. I called them but they did not recieve the proof of name change. I am getting anxious because my trip to china is next Sunday (3-13). Is there anything that I could do to get china visa?

Don't worry, Steven, just wait for their call.
