About:Chinese Embassy in Mexico

i am a mexican citizen residing in florida. i am a permanant us resident. how do i apply for a chinese tourist visa and through what office?

You need to submit your visa application to Consulate General of China in Houston. The requirements are as follows:
1. A valid passport as well as a copy of its information page. Your valid passport must have at least six (6) months of remaining validity and at least one blank visa page in it.
2. Application form: Neatly completed Visa Application Forms (Form V2011A and Form V2011B) with one recently-taken color photo of 2x2 square inch glued or stapled on the application form.
3. the original and a photocopy of certificates for permit for residence, work, study or valid US visa.
Besides the documentations mentioned above, other documentations might be required by visa officers in order to decide whether to issue the visa case by case.
Submit all above documents to the consulate in person, and if you can not go there in person, application can be submited by someone entrusted as well. The gereral processing takes 4 working days.
