About:Chinese Embassy in Switzerland

Hello,

We are two people (Swiss and Italian with B Permit), taking the Trans-Siberian route in May with long stopovers especially in Russia. That's why we will be arriving to China only in September, and since we do not want to apply for Chinese visa on the way, we would like to get a "Double-Entry Chinese Visa with 6-month Validity" already in Switzerland.

For this, would we need to show our itineraries going into and out of China? Do we need to show proof of accommodation as well? On the website of the Chinese Embassy in Bern, it does not mention about itineraries or any proof of accommodations but regarding some information that people have written we are getting a bit confused now.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards.

Travel itinerary, hotel reservation and round trip tickets are only required if visa officers deem necessary, they are not prerequisite for visa application. Anyway, it is better if you can provide them in advance.
