Hi, Which part of Bejing that is closed to Dongzhimen bus station ? How often is bus 936 to Mutianya ? How long will it takes to get there. Thank you

Dongzhimen bus station is located in Dongcheng District. The Tour Bus No.936 runs between 07:00 and 15:00 on every one hour from Dongzhimen Outer to Mutianyu Great Wall. It takes about 2.5-3 hours for a single way.

Hi Frank, Is there a website that we can check the long distance bus schedules to different cities in China ?  Do we need to book in advance for the bus tickets ?  Is there an express bus to Mutianyu Great Wall ?Thank you

Most of the bus tickets can only be bought at the bus station on your arrival, and I don't think there is the need to book the tickets in advance if you won't take the bus during the public holidays. For express bus to Mutianyu, I think you may take bus no. 936(Through) at Dongzhimen and get off at Mingzhu Square (Huairou International Conference Center), and take a mini-bus to Mutianyu Great Wall.
