About:Wuhu Travel

I am a Chinese American who grew up in Taiwan. Both my parents were from Wuhu. I am planning to visit Wuhu in early April. I only have a vague idea that we used to live in a house and the street called "拾米巷". Anyone might know the place please let me know. Also I'll need some advices of what to see and what to eat in a two-day stay. Any suggestion will be deeply appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi, most of the old streets in Wuhu have been renewed and they may got new names. So it may be hard to find the street in your memory. But you can experice a new scenery of Wuhu. Travelling there, you can go to see the Zheshan Park, Tianmenshan Mountain, Jinghu Park, Ma Renqi Mountain. As to eat, you should not miss the local snacks in Wuhu.

Thank you Sara for your reply. Are you a Wuhu local? I also remember the houses in my neighborhood seemed all have a "八卦" symbol carved on the walls on top of the main door. Do you know such an alley? Thanks.
