About:Great Wall History

I do know that people say shi huangdi first started the great wall of china. But is it possible that he could've connected his wall with other walls made by the other areas of china?

In Chinese history, the construction of the Great Wall began in the Warring States Period, and the state of Chu (11th Century BC-223BC) was the first to build a wall, followed by the Qi, Yan, Wei, Zhao and Qin.

well ya because some of the wall that was built, was built in differet places in china bt close by the war.
