About:2025 / 2026 / 2027 Public Holiday Calendar

I'm interested to visit southwest china, but was told that the week of labour day, i.e. 30 Apr to 7 May would be particularly crowded with chinese tourist. Is this the case? Or is it only crowded over the weekend from 30 Apr to 2 May?

Only crowded from May 1-3.
