About:China Consulate in Houston

Hi. My father is taking a 10 day tour of China. He was born in China, but is a US citizen. This will be his first trip back to China since he left as a child. His US passport states that he was born in China. He has compled the application and attached a passport photo. What other documents does he need? I am concerned that he might need additional documentation (like his US citizenship papers) since his US passport states that he was born in China.

Also, where exactly is the free parking lot by the Houston Chinese Consulate? On their website, it states NW of this hotel, but it is too general. Is it a parking garage?

Many Thanks.

Is your father a former Chinese? if yes, he shall write down his Chinese name in the application form and submit his original Chinese passport and the photocopy of the information page of the passport. You can park your car in the parking-lot they designated, but sorry I'm not clear if it is a parking garage.
