About:Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

Thanks Bruce for the prompt reply, but it didn't really answer my question. I am aware that the Centre is open till 6pm, and that therefore I "can" visit the pandas in the afternoon, but as the official advice is to go in the morning at feeding time, and as they tend to just sleep much of the time, when not eating, similar to the koalas here in Australia, I was trying to find out if there was maybe a feeding time in the afternoon, and, if not, does that mean that there will be little to see in an afternoon visit, other than sleeping pandas, ie, mounds of black and white! In other words, is an afternoon trip likely to be enjoyable, or a disappointment? Thanks in advance for a further reply.

Pandas will have afternoon outing at 3-4pm. You can go at that time. That will not be a disappointement.
