What will the temperature be in May/2011, I am planning to visitTaiyuan, Datong and Pingyao. If I fly from Hong Kong, how can I join the local tour to visit those places. Can you pls provide methe local travel agent information. Thank you

May will be full of sunshine in Shanxi, a little bit dry. Usually, a long-sleeved shirt and jeans will be ok. In case of the cool morning, you should prepare a jacket as well. It is suggested that you book a local tour in advance and then the guide will pick you up at the airport.
