About:Haikou Travel

What is the easiest way to get to Sanya from Guangzhou and how long does the journey take? If I fly in to Hainan, which airport should I pick - Haikou or Sanya? Please advise.

Fellow Canadian who has been there before

It is only logical to fly from Guangzhou to Meilan airport in Haikou (the provincial capital). If I like a slow train ride, you can take a train from Baiyun Airport in Guangzhou all the way to Sanya. The airport in Sanya is pretty small.

The train will be folded up into 4 or 5 sections and take a ferry ride across the channel to Haikou. Quite an experience if you ask me.

which city u like better.if u just want to visit some natural places, go to sanya, for the histury or culture u should better to go to haikou city. haikou is the capital of hainan
