About:Hainan Travel

I'm planning a trip to Hainan Island during 1 - 4 May.
Is this period crowded in Hainan Island?
Which hotel would you recommend in Haikou that is near town/ food?

Yes, it will be a travel peak time in Hainan since 1-3 May is the public holiday in China. As for hotel, there are so many choices, what is your rate per night?

Would the shops and restaurants be open during public holidays?
Is it logical to stay 2 nights in Haikou and 1 night in Sanya?
I would like to walk around the city for nice food and enjoy the beach area as well.
My budget is around 100 - 120 USD per room night.
