Hi,I am travelling to beijing with 2 adults and 2 young children (2 and 4 years) I imagine the kids will be free on the subway and buses.Would I need to buy 2 transportation cards for the adults or can they share a card.

Child under 1.2meters is free to take subway and buses in the city. You should purchase 2 cards for two adults since one card is valid for one person every time.
