About:How to Buy Tickets

am planning a trip to Hangzhou next week and will be flying to Shanghai then to Hangzhou. Can you please confirm whether the high speed trains from shanghai to Hangzhou are operational yet? I understand it started last October 2010. Can anyone help???

Yes, the high speed trains, namely G trains are in operation from Shanghai to Hangzhou daily. It only takes about 1hr and most of the trains are departing from Shanghai Hongqiao train station.
