About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

my passport will expire on 06-08-2011, can i apply for a tourist visa for shanghai ???

Does your passport expire on June 8, 2011 or August 6, 2011? A passport with at least 6 remaining validity is required for China visa application, otherwise, you can't apply for a tourist visa to China.
