About:National Holidays in China

I would like to go to China the first week in October, but I see that that is the week for there National Day. Should I change my travel dates or is this still a good time to go. Do I have to worry about things being closed?

You don't have to worry about things being closed, for nothing will be closed during the holiday and it is a best time for business promotion. The only problem is it is crowded in attractions.

Are there going to be wall to wall people? We will be going as a group of 40 people with a guide and escort. Do you think we will be taking a risk at loosing someone.

Some of the attractions may be full of people, and there is the possibility that someone of your group may drop out although you have a guide and escort. Thus, pay attention to follow your team all the time.
