About:Passport

I have a Malaysian passport which is expiring in Jan 2012. I work in the USA. I am making a trip home to Malaysia to renew this passport in May 2011. I have a multiple entry tourist visa to China which expires Aug 2011. I am planning to enter China on June 2, 2011 on my way back to the USA.
1. Can I enter China using the visa in my old passport?
2. or do I have to transfer the visa to my new passport?
3. Or do I have to get a new visa altogether?

if you take the old passport and new passport together, you can enter China by using the visa on your old passport.
