About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

I am an Italian citizien living in China but i have a only entrance visa. In augoust I would like to go to koh Samui on holiday. Can I apply there for a new visa?

You can try to apply for a new China visa there.

Mrs.Petruzziello, Mr.GETIN2CHINA means that you can apply for new one entry or double entry visa at the local Exit & Enter Department of Public Security BUreau before you go to KOH SAMUI on holiday.

However, as I know, the Exit & Enter Department generally issues 0 entry visa. It is advisable for you to apply for a visa in Thailand

yes, when you arriving china, you can extend you visa and ask a one entry or double entry visa .

before you leave china, you can have a try to ask 1 entry extend. if failed, you can apply for a new visa in Thailand.
