The festival is lunar Dec 30-Jan 6. This is in Chinese Calendar. For the holiday of 2012, it is Jan 22-28. Some people may have longer holidays. Most company staff will rest in these 7 days. Some restaurants and small business will be closed, but it is not a problem. Supermarkets and shopping centers will open as usual.
