About:Marriage Registration in China

Hi I'm Dieter,
I am an Australian citizen and planning to marry my Chinese Girlfriend in Wuhan.Can you help me what paperwork and Certificates I need for the wedding in China? If not my second worry is... I am a retiree have my own payed little Townhouse in Queensland and like to take my wife after we married permanent back home to Australia. Is my Chinese marriage certificate fully recognized in Australia and what can I do that my wife can live permanent in Australia with me...or can she do this automatically threw our marriage?? or shut I rethink and try to marry here in Australia when she is here on a Visa? What’s the requirement there? Question is which way is easier or better?
I will be thankful if someone could help.... any information helps...

You need a single status certificate and get it attestated by department of foreign affairs and trade, and last, go to Chinese embassy/consulate for authentication. It should be translated to Chinese in the bagaining. Other documents required are your Birth certificate, photos and passport.
After marriage registration in China, your wife needs to apply for Australian residence visa (PR) from your embassy in China, e.g from Shanghai.

Hi John..... thanks for your reply, I still would need some help I'm pretty much confused...question is how can we exchange our private email addresses? My most Important questions are: witch way is easier to get married ? do I get my Girlfriend over on an Holiday Visa to Australia and marry her here? Or do I go to China and marry here over there ? How long I have to stay in china...what Paperwork I need? and can't we stay permanent after our wedding in Australia? I would be very thankful for a sort of a list ...and what to do....properly easier coming to Darwin and see you face to face :o) I thank you very much for your help.....Dieter
