Hi, could i go to the Chinese visa office in Manchester, fill in the paper work there and then, also leave my passport and pay the fee and pick up my passport at the office say in 5 days time, tourist visa.

The application form you'd better prepare beforehand, it has 4 pages and many sections to be filled in, you can complete the form online and then print it out or download first and fill by hand. Prepare all the documents that are required for visa application as well. To submit your application to the Center, you are required to make an online appointment first. And visa fee you need to pay when collect your visa.
