I need to travel from Hong kong to Xian on 8 Apr then from Xian to Beijing on 10 Apr can I buy these in Hong Kong when I arrive on 3 Apr or am I able to buy them on line before I travelThanks

There are no direct trains from Hong Kong to Xian. But you can take bus or train to Guangzhou first and then take a train to Xian. Since there is no train tickets offices in Hong Kong, you would better book the train tickets Guangzhou-Xian and Xian-Beijing online around 10 days in advance.
