Question

My boss is Canadian passport holder. He is invited to attend trade fir in Xiamen on 7 Mar but do not have chance to apply visa in advanced as he is flying around all the time!Can he apply VOA with invitation letter from trade fair host? what kind of visa will be issued? What is the duration for stay for that visa? Can he go to Shanghai after the trade fair with that visa?

He can apply for Xiamen VOA in this case, but he is not allowed to visit Shanghai with that visa. Xiamen visa only allows 3 days' stay in Xiamen only. If he will visit Shanghai, he needs to apply for a China business visa in advance in Canada or Hong Kong.
