About:Chinese Consulates in India

Hello Sir,

I am from Kolkata and got a job in China.My work permit is on process.I just want to know can I apply for my visa from Kolkata Consulates office or I have to go to New Delhi to apply the same.

I also like to know what is the maximum validity of work visa?
Can I get a work visa for my wife too?

The validity of your work visa is 3 months from issue date. And, you are required to change your work visa into a residence permit within 30 days after entry. Your wife, as a dependent accompanying your work visa should provide related note, letter or visa notification issued by an authorized unit or documents proving her status as dependents when apply for China visa.

You have to go to China Consulate in Kolkata to apply for work visa to China. You don't need to go to New Delhi to apply for visa.
