I am traveling to china in june. I plan to be there a week. I am flying into ghuangzhau. I would like to visite Beijing. this is my first visit to beijing. can anyone make suggestions as to travele between cities,hotels,shopping etc. any suggestion are greatly appreciated. thanks

Hi Bikash, you should fly from Guangzhou to Beijing, comfortable and saving lots of time. As for Beijing, well, this city is rich in historical sites, so a good guide is important. A hotel around Tian'anmen in Wangdujing area may ease the problem of transportation. You could find a number of reasonable hostels to luxurious hotles in this city. For shopping, fashion clothes and expensive branded goods assembles in Xi'dan and Wangfujing around Tiananmen, too. There are also wholesale markets in Beijing, such as the area around Beijing Zoo. Of course, don't forget to purchase some souvenir~
