About:Tsim Sha Tsui

Can I still make it to Ngong Ping if I have 13 hrs transit time? How much would it cost from airport to ngong ping & back if I take the cab? How many minutes is the travel time?

Yes, 13 hours are enough for a tour from HKIA to Ngong Ping 360. It costs about CNY175 by taxi for a single way to Ngong Ping from the airport, and takes about 30 minutes.

Mr. Hank,

How many hours would I travel if I take the train from airport to tunchung & take the cable going to Nyong Ping? I want to experience the cable ride...then just take the cab goign back to the airport.

Appreciate your help.

There is no direct train from the airport to Tung Chung, but there is direct bus no. S1 which takes about 35 minutes. It takes about 25 minutes from Tung Chung to Ngong ping 360 by cable car.
