I think you could only go to visit Dali from Ruili. The bus from Dali to Ruili will take you nearly 10 hours.

HI,I have booked my flight from Guangzhou to Kunming on 10th March 2010 but I could not find any domestic flights from Kunming to go to Ruili then thereafter to Lijiang. Are there any connecting flights that I can take in this way - Kunming --> Ruili --> Lijiang? Or do I always need to start off from Kunming airport to Ruili and to Lijiang respectively? I have booked hotel in Lijiang for 3 nights already, from the 12th March to 14th March and will be there for sightseeing. Please kindly advise. Thanks, Aveline
