If you wants branded clothes, go to Nanjing Road, Parkson Shopping Center on the Huaihai Road or Maison Mode, located at No.1312, Huaihai Road; for inexpensive clothes, Hong Kong Famous Shops Street and Dimei Shopping Center beneath People's Square and Xiangyang Road are better. For electricals, you can go to kangmin Furniture and electrical market at Tibet North Road or China Electrical City at Beijing East Road.
