About:China Transit Visa

Hi,
I hold a Philippines passport with a J1 USA visa. My itinerary will be from Cebu, Phil. to Hongkong thru Cebu Pacific....

From Hongkong I will be traveling With Delta Airlines Savanna, USA with a connecting flight to Narita, Japan and New York, USA.

My concern is, what do i need to do? do i need to have a transit visa in HOngkong? Coz my problem now, my flight from cebu phil to hongkong is not a connecting flight..is it ok?

You don't need to have a transit visa in Hong Kong, Philippines passport holders are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for up to 14 days. The J1 USA visa and your flight tickets to Japan, New York are Ok for you to pass the immigration, which can prove your purpose of transit.
