About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Hi, I will visit China middle of this year & was thinking of applying for a 12 mths visa as I intend to make several short trips throughout the year-tourism purpose.
I noticed the 24 mths visa is of the same fees, which is rm120. Will it be okay if i proceed to apply for the 24mths instead? Do i need to provide documentations?
Thank you.

Please notice that you can get a Multiple entry visa only if (1) You are the spouse, child or parent of a Chinese citizen. In this case, you need to provide the original and the copy of Marriage License or Notary Certificate of Kinship; or
(2) You have real estate in China. The original and the copy of Property Ownership Certificate registered under your name is also a requirement.
