hi,Im holding a filipino passport and UAE residence. Im planning to go to shanghai by later month of october. Im applying for tourist visa. Is invitation letter really required for applying a tourist visa? I can provide roundtrip ticket and also hotel accommodation but invitation letter i dont know where am i suppose to get it? My purpose is only for tour and sightseeing? Is there any possibility that I can get a visa without invitation letter

Invitaiton letter is not required unless visa officers ask for it, but you need to provide A No-objection letter from your company stating your position, monthly or yearly salary for tourist visa application.
