About:Ancient Chinese Marriage Custom

What may happen, I am the year of the rat 1972 and my girfriend the year of the horse 1966 come together?. I do love this woman very much Please inform me on any advice.

Rat and horse are bad match, and this is from superstition. If the age and personality of you two are not the problem, that will be all right. Best wishes to you.

From your experience what may cause down the future by that I mean love, finance, family problem and how is it conflict. Also she had two girls 14 and 15 through her past marriage. We have been dating for over three years, and so far we can not come together. I have to make a decision soon. It hard with the kids, but I am trying to give up the life ahead of me to be with her. So far our personality has no conflit but she tend to chose her kids side.( I am ok with that, but is that really mean we can not be together? What can you tell as might cause through life expeiences from other couples that a rat male and a female horse?.
