About:China Train

Hi, it will be my first time to use night train in China. If the train arrived at my destination around 4.00 in the morning (then it will continue to other city), is it OK for me to use alarm clock to wake me up? Is there any other way that will not disturb others? How long approximately the train will stop in a station before continue its journey?

Thanks a lot.

Of course, you can use an alarm clock. But usually, if taking the hard/soft sleeper, the train attendant will wake you up to exchange the train tickets with the plastic card about 1 hour before train reaches your destination. It is hard to say how many minuets that a train will stop at an intermediate station. To get off the train timely, you’d better pack your baggage well around 15mins before the train stops.
