Hi, my family will be in Beijing China on May 3-9 and from there will be bound for Hong Kong. We are booked at Beijing Forbiden City Hostel located at Dongcheng District. I would like to know if how far is our hostel to reach the Beijing West Train Station? Also, have read an article in the net, that if we go direct to purchase the ticket in the Beijing West station, we can avail a 40-50% discount as we will be traveling 4 in the family (3- adult and 1- 10 year old daughter). Or can we booked thru online with the same promo your giving. How I hope I could avail a discount like others do. Your kind assistance will be much appreciated. Thank you sir.

Beijing Forbidden City Hostel is about 15km from West Train Station. And you could take a taxi there directly. I also learned that there is some discount if purchasing four train tickets or above on Beijing-Kowloon route, but there are also some limitations. For the details, you would better consult the staff at the west train station or make an online enquiry.
