About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

I've a trip planned ... Dubai- Mumbai- Kuala Lumpur-Singapore-Mumbai-Dubai. Now there is a 2 day visit to china added from singapore. We leave next week.
can i apply for a visa within 2 days from Dubai ? Does the embassy need to keep my passport ?
What are the documents needed for the same? I dont have a invitation letter.

You can use their rush or express service for visa application if you need to get visa quickly. Chinese embassy will keep your passport during visa processing. If you can not provide an invitation letter, you may try to apply for a tourist visa instead by providing a No-objection letter from your company in Dubai stating your position, monthly or yearly salary.
