Hello, I have applied with my wife to Hong Kong Visa on Jan 3rd 2011 and I revisited the embassy on the 1st of February to check if I received the visa, but the visa did not arrive, knowing that the embassy of the republic of china is closed from the 2nd of February until the 9th of it for the chinese new year, and I have booked the tickets and the hotel in Hong Kong with departure from Beirut on the 11th of February, do you think there is any possible way to contact a hotline or a specific person that can inform me if I will receive the visa before that date? as I have a very important conference in Hong Kong.

You'd better visit the embassy once again when it is open. As far as I know, Hong Kong visa processing takes about one month if connection with Hong KOng immigration department is necessary (excluding holidays).
