About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

Hi!

I would like to know the price for a soft sleeper from Beijing to Harbin and Harbin to Vladivostok? We plan to travel in Jan. 2012 in time for the Harbin Ice Festival and from there we plan to proceed to Russia by train.

I would not recommend taking train from Harbin to Vladivostok - it takes about 24 hours to travel with long stay on the border. It's better to take international bus from Harbin to Vladivostok - only 13 hours!

Many trains are running from Beijing to Harbin, including non-stop trains, bullet trains and express trains etc. The ticket price is about CNY429 for one soft sleeper on train Z1 or T47. K7023 departs from Harbin on every Wednesday and Saturday to Vladivostok.
