It is learned that the train T5 departs from Beijing West Railway Station on every Thursday and Friday to Hanoi, while the train T8701 is in operation everyday from Nanning to Hanoi. The ticket price is around CNY280/soft-sleeper from Nanning. From Urumqi to Nanning, there are no direct trains but direct flight of China Southern Airlines is available on each Mon, Wed, Fri and Sunday, costing about 5hrs.
