About:Urumqi Train Schedule

Dear Sir
Please can you send me details of travel to Urumqi from Beijing. I understand there is only one train service a day? How much does this cost? How far in advance do I need to book? How often does the train stop so I can get off and buy food? I guess there is tight security and I will need to travel with my passport. Do i need to show it when leaving a province? I really anoys me to be woken in the night by security guards. Does the train run throughout the year or does the cold of winter stop or slow the service down.

I am sorry I have so many questions but China is new to me and I prefer to travel over land instead of fly.

It cost around CNY874 for one lower soft sleeper on train T69. And you would better book the train tickets around 10 days before departure. The train has about 18 stops during the way but the stopping time is all very short. So, it is better for u to bring enough snacks and foods before aboard. Usually, the train runs through out of the year.
