About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Dear Sir/madame,

i am applying for a tourist visa and i have been to China many times because of legal employments. last december i went home after almost 6 months of working as a designer. i did not finish my one year working visa so my company also canceled this working visa for legal purposes. now, i am planning to go to China as a tourist this February. I got surprise because they asked for my bank certificate and since my bank is a rural bank, they also asked for a bank book. is it really very different now and very strict than last year? thank you very much.

did you show the previous visa sticker on your passport? normally thats all you need + hotel vouchers & round trip tickets. But if the visa assessor asks for it you need to provide it, you can also try and apply in a different counter

Ms.Cel, you can use the visa in your old passport to enter China if it is valid.
