About:Marriage Registration in China

I wish to marry my chinese girlfriend in china i have my single status paper which has been legalised by the british consulate but when i went to the chinese embassy they were closed for the holiday period and i fly out to china in a few days can i get my paper legalised by the chinese consulate in beijing.

No, sir, you need to wait and get your paper legalised by Chinese embassy in UK. You can not get it done in Beijing, China.
