About:Business Hours in China

I would like to make a day or two long visit to Hangzhou in the next 20 days. I would appreciate if someone could guide me on :

i) the best time to travel ( places may be closed becasue of the spring Festival).
ii) mode of transportation from Suzhou - bus or train ?
iii) hotel/motel availability
iv) is it safe to travel as a single woman?
v) any particular location to buy silk fabrics or even visit a factory?
vi) sites worth visiting

1. 09:00-18:00 will be the best time to travel.
2. I think bus is cheaper and more convenient than train.
3. All of the hotels in Hangzhou will be open.
4. It is safe to travel individually.
5. You may go to the China Silk Town in the downtown of Hangzhou located at the west side of Xinhua Road.
6. Travel to Hangzhou West Lake is a must, and there are many other attractions to be chosen from https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/zhejiang/hangzhou/
