About:Hanging Monastery (Xuankong Si)

I read on several websites that doing both the Hanging Monastery and Yungang Cave Temples on the same day is ok. Is it true even if we take buses to both? Our train arrives in Datong at 6.36 and leaves for Xian at 16.40 or 17.58.

I don't think you can visit the Hanging Monastery and Yungang Cave by public bus between 06.36 and 16:40/17:58. You should rent a car or take a taxi to do that.
