Hi, I have a criminal record in Hong Kong before and now I wanted to go back to Hong Kong again, Can the immigration officer check or know that I have a previous criminal record?

What is the worst thing that can happen to me?

Possibly, you will be checked out if your criminal record is serious, and the worst thing is that you will be stopped entry to Hong Kong.
