About:Badaling Great Wall

I was at the great wall back in Nov.I had taken the cable car up to the wall. But, i did have a problem entering the very steep steps TO actually get on the wall itself. Was there another way ?

It seems no other way. Because the cable car doesn't cover all the way along the great wall.
