You could buy the tickets for children after boarding the train. And usually, one adult passenger could carry one child under 1.1meters for free. For the children between 1.1meters and 1.5meters tall, they could enjoy half-price tickets provided they do not take extra bed. If taking extra berth, the children ticket price is the one that adult berth cost deducts the half ticket price for hard seat. Hope it is clear...
