Hello,im from israel. and im now staying in hanoi. i understood its not possible to get visa here. what are my options? do i need to go to HCMC? or maybe to Laos to get the visa? is it possible maybe to send my passport to HCMC by travel agency and to get the visa without going to HCMC?Im now working in some hostel in Hanoi, only temporary couple of weeks until my visa ends, but i dont have working visa. only tourist visa. does it help me to get the visa here if i would say at the chinese ambbacy that im working here?thanks,Barak

You can try to apply for a tourist visa from Chinese consulate in Ho Chi Minh City personally or through a travel agency. It is not that difficult as to apply in Hanoi. Keep in mind that don't lie to visa officers, if you are working there, you need to provide work permit ot residence permit for visa application.
