About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

Hello Sir,

I am a Pakistani National. At the moment I completed my Masters from UK. Now I want to do my PhD from China. But before getting admission I want to visit some universities in China personally as their is no up to date international websites of those universities. Can you just guide me which visa should I apply for?

You can apply for a tourist visa to China in this case to visit Universities in China. But Chinese embassy in Pakistan seldom issue tourist visa to individual applicants unless you can provide detailed travel itinerary from travel agency. Other option for you is to apply for a business visa, ask the university you want to visit for an invitation letter. More requirements for China business visa are listed above on this page, please check them carefully.
