About:Chinese Embassy in Kenya

I plan to go to china on a tourist visa and would like to inquire on the requirements on the same. In specific i would like to know if bank statements and travel insurance is required.

Bank statement for last 3 months with positive latest closing balance is required. Travel insurance is not required. You are kindly informed that the bank statment should be the latest three months, and the latest closing balance should be positive(normally, it is required that the latest closing balance should be USD200 or equal amount of KSH per day, so the total amount of money should be USD200 or equal amount of KSH mutiples the days of your stay in China).
